The live album of the band performing with the San Francisco Symphony at San Francisco's Chase Center features songs recorded in September 2019.

It’s a celebration of Metallica, their fans, and their music. Unlike S&M, S&M2's music choices is heavier. The symphony does not merely sweeten the group's songs with strings.
