Big Daddy's Bar & Grill Newmarket, Ontario
✮✮✮✮✮ (out of 5) Review by Michael Oshust
Nickelbach's live performance at Big Daddy's was the kind of show one will never forget. It's refreshing hearing NICKELBACK songs played in an intimate setting
The show opened with Andrew performing Neil Young classics with his harmonica and his acoustic guitar. He sounded passionate singing classics "Old Man," and "Harvest Moon."
Nickelbach put on a phenomenal show, performing classic Nickelback tunes. Beginning with “Figured You Out” and “Because of You,” Nickelbach then launched into such classics as “Too Bad,” and “Woke Up This Morning.”
The band consists of Doug (bass and vocals,) Darryl (drums and vocals,) Andrew (guitar and vocals,) and Baz Littlerock (guitar and lead vocals.) Nothing short of excellent, all the vocals were searing, and on pitch. Just at the right moment, drums, bass, and guitar started the engine of that great, rockin’ tune we all recognize "Bottoms Up." The crowd ate it up.
Baz Littlerock is the band’s main frontman and the quintessential rock lead vocalist/guitarist. Clear vocals with a rich tone and an impressive range, Littlerock interacted with the audience, a consummate performer with tremendous talent and years of experience.
