The Snake King

Rick Springfield may be known for Jessie's Girl, but now he's playing the blues on his new album The Snake King.

The singer reveals a darker side in 'Snake King'. He has had demons as he revealed in his memoir Late, Late At Night and its accounts of depression to understand the guy knows what it's like to have the blues.

With titles such as Suicide Manifesto, Jesus Was an Atheist, and Santa Is an Anagram seem at first to show his sense of humor.

The Snake King shows Rick's passionate guitar playing, and the album echoes of deep Delta blues.

An excellent album that is well written and produced.
